We want Doodah to feel welcoming for every family.
Here’s an honest look at our space, so you know what to expect.
The entrance
There’s one low step at the entrance, with wide french doors that open right out. If you need a hand getting up or down the step, just let us know.
The studio
It’s a cosy, single-level space. Our tables are mostly at children’s height, and we can raise them if that helps.
There is adult seating in the studio. Because the space is small, wheelchairs, walkers and larger prams may be a tight squeeze in some areas.
The bathroom is near the entrance and on the same level as the studio. It is a standard bathroom and is not wheelchair accessible.
Sights, sounds and textures
Doodah is a creative, sensory place, with messy play, a sensory table, and plenty to touch and explore.
It’s calm rather than loud, but it is busy and hands-on. Music usually plays during sessions.
If you’d like to know more about what to expect, just ask.
Getting support
If your family has any specific needs, you’re welcome to get in touch before you visit.
We can’t adapt everything in a small space, but we’re always happy to talk through what’s possible and do what we can.
Email hello@doodahplay.com.au or message us on Instagram.
Using our website
We want our website and booking system to be easy to use.
If you have trouble creating an account, booking or finding information, please get in touch and we’ll help.
Everyone’s welcome
Whatever your family needs, we’ll always do our best to make you feel comfortable here.
